There are two ways to make an appointment:
- Submit your name, email and number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will reply
- Call directly 212-759-6999 x 100. If you reach our voice mail your call will be returned within 24 hours.
- Once you have scheduled the appointment, your dietitian will email/fax or send via postal mail a packet confirming the appointment along with forms for you to fill out and return prior to your consultation.
Anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks
When you call we will briefly discuss your needs and concerns. Each one of our Registered Dietitians is an expert in nutrition and each one has their area (s) of specialization. We determine which one is best suited for you.
The consultation is 90 minutes
Follow Up sessions are 45 minutes
Yes, we offer packages for follow up sessions at a discounted fee. You will have the opportunity to discuss what’s best for you with your nutritionist.
We also offer our Weight Management and Weight Loss Coaching Program. This program includes one 90-minute consultation plus 10 individualized (10 weeks) follow-up weight loss coaching sessions.
You and your dietitian will discuss your needs further and fill in any gaps that remain after reviewing your paperwork. Based on the all the information gathered, you will assist in the development of YOUR meal plan and guidelines, specific to your needs, to get you started. You will discuss with your dietitian when (if needed) to follow up for your next visit and you will leave with a plan in hand.
You will discuss what is working and what is not and make any necessary changes to your plan.
Every meal plan is highly individualized to meet our clients’ needs.
Treatment for an eating disorder is a process and the frequency and length depends on the history of the eating disorder and the needs of the client.
We do not do blood testing. We recommend that you see your physician for an annual check-up and we ask that you provide any blood work that has been done within 6 months to a year.
We do not accept / take assignment. We provide our clients with a receipt to be submitted to their carrier for third party reimbursement.
Prior to your consultation you will be asked to complete a packet of information and fax/email/mail back to the office at least 2 days before your consultation so there is no need to bring anything.
We are quite flexible BUT in general our hours of operation are 8:00AM-8:00PM
